Foye

Glyph of the word 'foye'.

foye

  • (n.) papaya

A havava ei i foye.
“I like papaya.”

Notes: Fresh papaya gets a bad rap, in my opinion. I think it tastes quite nice. I definitely like what it adds to juices (who doesn’t?), but the fruit itself is a nice treat. I don’t love it, but I well enjoy it from time to time.

Thus concludes my meditation on papaya.

    “Bad rap”, surely?

(I bother to point this out mostly because you keep an English writing guide :-p)

No, please do! The way it is now, I’d say there’s only a 75% chance that a word I write will come out spelled correctly if the word has a homonym which is spelled differently. The accuracy I attained at the end of high school has been scattered to the four winds. :(
