“There’s a cat in my bag!”
Notes: HAPPY CATURDAY!
I was sitting at my computer and her meowing next to me and a rustling. I looked to my left and saw a bag and no cat. I looked around and around, and then I saw the bag move. A moment later, I was fortunate enough to get this shot:

I don’t know how she got in the bag without my noticing—she had just been outside it—but she made it in! What a shot. She’s quite the adorable cat.
This is one of those words that was borrowed from Zhyler. It’s actually borrowed from two separate, more specific words: alja and alša. They both wind up sounding the same in Kamakawi, so they’ve become a kind of superword in Kamakawi, covering a much wider range of items than the two Zhyler words.
One of these days I need to get back to Zhyler… Much to do before then, though. Much, much to do.
