Introduction
The Epiq lexicon and corpus is a semi-interactive corpus of sentences in Epiq along with their English translations. The way it works is that I type in an Epiq sentence and type in its English translation. At that point, the sentences are stored, and each word becomes a link, such that if you click on the link, you'll find every sentence that word appears in. Pretty neat, huh?
Epiq is one of those languages that has a ton of cases, a truckload of verbal morphology, and inflecting postpositions. As such, if you look up a word in Epiq, there's a good chance you may only get one sentence. For that reason, I'd recommend looking things up in the English side. It may be more productive.
As a quick note, I'd like to thank Gary Shannon for providing the source code this page runs on. It came from the site Gary created for the Kalusa language, which was a fascinating and inspirational project that exist only in memory. For more information, go here.
